Mindfulness Scotland Community

We have helped to create a community of trained mindfulness professionals working in organisations across Scotland.
Over the years, Mindfulness Scotland has trained and worked with a wide range of Health & Social Care professionals who use mindfulness based approaches in their work, helping to create a community of trained mindfulness professionals working in NHS and third sector organisations across Scotland.

Soup and Silence Evenings

We hold regular guided silent practice evenings. These take place on a Friday evening, beginning with a bowl of soup and following on with two hours of seamless guided practice.  The evenings are primarily for those who have completed our training programme.

What Our Community Says

"Mindfulness has changed my life. I am a different person and I live in a different world. I aspire to live a life filled with kindness and compassion (towards myself and others), connectedness and acceptance. By living more mindfully, I can manage stress, symptoms (especially chronic pain) and regulate my emotions, feeling more satisfied and content with my life."

- Gail C., General Practitioner

"Mindfulness has been a constant thread running through the last 20 years of my life. It is somewhere I can always come back to whenever I’m feeling lost or confused. It helps me find my way home."

- Dr Margaret Kerr, Psychotherapist, Mindfulness Teacher and Supervisor
